Summer Camp Patches.
Troop 861 has gone to Summer Camp every year since its start in 1961. Most of those summer camp experiences were at Camp Rokilio on Cedar Lake near Kiel, WI. When Camp Rokilio was into Cub Scout World in the late 1990's, Troop 861 shifted to Bear Paw Scout Camp and Gardner Dam Scout Camp. Summer Camp is a special experience for Scouts, there Scouts build skills, confidence, forge friendships, and have fun! It is also a special experience for the troop and its patrols, during the week the troop and its patrols work together to accomplish tasks, compete in competitions, and much more building cameraderie and espirit de corps, or what we call "Patrol Spirit."
